To secure your ideal stay, early booking is recommended, especially during peak seasons.
Whether you’re camping under the vast African sky or traversing the lush landscapes on foot, Zimbabwe promises a truly mesmerizing encounter with nature’s wonders.
How long should I go for?
You have the option of either a 2 week adventure or a 3 week adventure.
The 2 week one takes you from Gaborone (Botswana) to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Maun, the Okavango Delta and to the Victoria Falls.
Add an another week to see Bulawayo (the city of Kings) [in Zimbabwe], Matobo National Park and more of Zimbabwe.
There is plenty more to see in between these destinations and we will tailor make the adventure with you.
Zimbabwe us the US dollar as their currency. Take low value denominations of $1 to $20 if you can. Try and avoid $100 bills or notes older that 2016 as both of these can be difficult to use in Zimbabwe. Credit cards are safe to use in Zimbabwe.
On safari this is US$10-20 per person per day, handed directly to the guide at the end of your trip is reasonable.
Generally, you tip less per person, so a group of four could expect to pay around US$30/day per support person on the trip and US$40/day to the guide.
Your safari will be with one of the greatest guides who will be travelling along in his own vehicle. If you have any questions or concerns, your guide will be available to help. It is helpful to have a guide travelling with you, as they will be able to guide you through the terrain and offer up valuable information and facts along the way. That is the reason this is a tag-along-trip.
There is no need to worry about preparing your own food on your journey; our guided tour includes a local camp cook who will provide all of the meals that are not provided by lodges, as well as lunches whilst you are en route.
All the meals will be Zimbabwean style.
Fact. This trip will include some remote campsites in Zimbabwe. You will truly enjoy being disconnected from gadgets and the internet.
Arguably one of the best ways to experience an African safari is in a group setting; this will allow you to encounter new experiences while still being surrounded by the company of others.
While each party in our small three-vehicle group travels in their own vehicle, you will have the chance to interact with others around the campfire at night.
